Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Labor rights advocacy plays a critical role in shaping fair and equitable employment practices, particularly in developing regions like Keffi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State. The advocacy for workers' rights encompasses efforts to ensure safe working conditions, fair wages, job security, and the protection of workers from exploitation. In Keffi, labor rights organizations, unions, and other advocacy groups have been at the forefront of addressing issues such as child labor, unpaid wages, and unsafe working environments.
